Purpose of Smart International:

1.2 The purpose of the Association is to support children globally against substance use and abuse and children’s rights according to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). We do this by spreading the primary prevention method called the Contract Concept and support, coach and facilitate all units that work with early substance prevention through positive reinforcements and individual contracts with young people. With this Smart method, we work mainly with young people to help them choose to delay onset with, or completely refrain from, tobacco and/or alcohol, drugs and crime.
