What is Smart International?

Smart International is an NGO, nongovernmental organization, and an NPO, nonpartisan and not-for-profit organization.

It is formally a Swedish organization, founded in June 2017 in Tyresö. The board is Swedish. It has designated five international advisors.

Our geographic target area is The Third World or The Global South.

We work with Positive Primary Prevention. We use, spread and coach a method called The Contract Concept, which is evidence-based in three countries.

Today we have ”Smart Clubs” in Kenya (3), Uganda (8), Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Nigeria (2), Ghana, Liberia (2), Gambia, South Sudan, Mali, Malawi (3), South Africa, Indonesia, Sri Lanka (2), Bangladesh and Afghanistan. About to start are Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and Zambia.
